The ZOLL AED 3 is a defibrillator that’s designed to provide non-medical personnel with support and advice, so they can provide CPR in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. It features a high-resolution, colour screen with easy-to-follow graphics as well as visual and audible feedback on the rate and depth of chest compressions. This version is fully automated which means that once you’ve placed the pads on the patient, the machine will check to see if defibrillation is needed and if so, initiate the shock, thus reducing the burden and potential fear of the rescuer.
